NORM’S (LaPointe) Choice:
PURSUIT by Thomas Perry
This story
revolves around three main characters: The assassin for
hire, a freelance assassin “go-getter,” and a retired police
detective turned professor. Only one of the thirteen people
assassinated is the important clue to finding the assassin.
It is necessary to determine which of the dead was the intended
victim. This is a basic “chase” adventure through New
York, California and Ohio, while the assassin continues to kill.
Although Norm says it is not the
best story he’s ever read, it kept his interest and he was
unable to put it down until the end.
